DeFi apps can call shared contracts and use their outputs in another part of a workflow. That makes lending, swapping and other actions fit together without rebuilding every component. The connections also carry dependencies: a change or failure in one component can affect applications relying on it.

Your app combines a lending-pool action and a DEX swap within the same contract workflow instead of rebuilding either protocol.
