Sandwich attack
A trading attack that places transactions before and after another trader's trade to exploit its price movement.
In more detail
An attacker tries to buy ahead of a pending swap and sell after that swap moves the price. The victim can end up with a worse execution result. Public pending transactions, available liquidity and permissive execution limits affect the opportunity; the attack is not simply any two trades around the same time.
How you might use it
Your pending swap is bracketed by an attacker's buy before it and sell afterward, exploiting the pool price movement your trade causes.
