Timelock
A spending constraint tied to a specified time or block requirement.
In more detail
A timelock makes a transaction or spending path usable only after its required condition is reached. Some locks refer to an absolute point; others measure time or blocks since an earlier event. They can support delayed recovery and payment-channel arrangements without someone manually releasing the funds on a calendar date.
How you might use it
A wallet's recovery path becomes spendable after the specified block delay, while its ordinary signing path has different conditions.
