Validity proof
A cryptographic proof that a claimed computation or state transition follows specified rules.
In more detail
A validity proof lets a verifier check a result without repeating all of the underlying work. What it establishes comes from the circuit or other specification being proved. Correct verification can establish execution integrity, but does not by itself show that users can retrieve all the data behind the result.
How you might use it
The proof links the rollup's previous state, batch and proposed new state according to the execution rules the verifier checks.
