Order book
A collection of active buy and sell orders arranged by price and matching rules.
Paper hands
A teasing or critical label for someone who sells quickly when the market gets shaky.
Perpetual futures
Derivative contracts designed for ongoing price exposure without the ordinary expiration of dated futures.
REKT
Wrecked: crypto slang for taking a brutal loss or having a trade go badly wrong.
Shill
To push a coin or project hard, usually because you want other people to buy or pay attention.
Slippage
The difference between an expected execution result and the result actually obtained.
Spot market
A market for trading the underlying asset with settlement according to the venue's delivery rules.
Stop order
An order activated when a specified price or other trigger condition is reached.
To the moon
A crypto cheer for a huge price rise, or the hope that one is coming.
Volatility
The extent to which an asset's price or returns vary over a specified period.
