Compact block
A Bitcoin block-relay format that sends short transaction identifiers so peers can reconstruct a block with less data.

In more detail
A receiving node often already has many of the transactions in its mempool. It uses those copies and asks for missing transactions, reducing repeated transmission without relaxing block validation.
