Event log
Data emitted during contract execution that applications can read from transaction records.
In more detail
Event logs help explorers and apps follow what contracts report: transfers, deposits and other actions can produce structured events. They're useful for indexing activity without rereading every contract's storage. A familiar event name isn't proof of a legitimate project, though; a contract's behavior and the address emitting the event still matter.
How you might use it
An explorer uses a token contract’s Transfer events to build a list of transfers for your wallet address.
