Token ID
An identifier for a token or token type within a particular contract.
Token issuance
The creation and distribution of new asset units under protocol or contract rules.
Tokenized vault
A contract that pools an asset and issues shares representing a claim on its managed holdings.
Transaction
An authorized request to change a blockchain’s state, such as moving assets or calling a contract.
Transaction fee
The amount paid for transaction inclusion or resource use under a blockchain's rules.
Transaction ID
An identifier computed from a transaction's protocol-defined serialized data.
Transaction input
The part of a Bitcoin transaction that identifies an earlier output being spent.
Transaction malleability
The ability to change a transaction’s identifier without changing its intended payment effect.
Transaction nonce
An Ethereum account’s sequential transaction counter, used to order transactions and prevent replay.
Transaction output
The part of a Bitcoin transaction that assigns value and specifies the conditions for spending it.
Transaction receipt
A record of an included Ethereum transaction’s execution result, including status, gas use and logs.
Transaction simulation
A preview of transaction execution against a chosen blockchain state before the transaction is settled.
TVL
Total value locked: an estimate of the monetary value of assets deposited in a protocol or category.
Typed-data signing
Signing structured Ethereum messages using a format such as EIP-712.
Unlimited approval
A token-spending permission set to a very large allowance rather than the amount needed for one action.
UserOperation
An ERC-4337 data structure describing an operation requested by a smart account.
Utilization rate
The proportion of a lending pool’s supplied liquidity that is currently borrowed.
UTXO
An unspent Bitcoin transaction output that a future transaction can consume.
Validator
A participant that performs consensus duties such as checking, proposing or voting on blocks.
Validity proof
A cryptographic proof that a claimed computation or state transition follows specified rules.
Validium
A scaling design that uses validity proofs while keeping transaction data outside the settlement chain.
Volatility
The extent to which an asset's price or returns vary over a specified period.

Wallet
Software or hardware that manages blockchain accounts and helps authorize transactions.
